The fire started between 10 and 11 am . Both Cobden and Douglas fire departments came. The house was quickly engulfed in flames. Tim and Betty Bakkhuyzen and there two sons ,
Jesse and Cory lost everything.

Any help with clothing right would be greatly appreciated Tim is a size 34/36 pants and XL shirts. and shoe size is 11. Betty is a size 18 pants XL shirts and 8 1/2 shoe.

Donations of money can be dropped off at Gibson’s Garage to help Tim and Betty.

Get a home cooked meal Aug. 22, 23, & 24 in the Agricultural Hall – roast pork Fri., roast beef Sat., and ham with mashed potatoes on Sun. Doors open 4-7pm with bar service
